Wairau River Reserve Marlborough Albariño

Albariño is a relative newcomer to New Zealand, and we planted a small amount in our Angler Vineyard in 2013. If you like Sauvignon Blanc, then we recommend you give Albariño a try, its zesty acidity and stonefruit characters make it a perfect match with seafood and white meats. This sassy wine has loads of personality and class.

Elegant citrus blossom aromatics combine seamlessly with notes of green apple, grapefruit and white peach. The palate is vibrant and refreshing, with mid-palate fruit weight and a saline texture providing structure and length, in combination with fine mineral acidity.
