Carefully selected parcels of fruit which we believe epitomize Marlborough will be shown within this range. The range will be evolving each year as each vintage brings new characters, dimensions and flavour profiles.
Sauvignon Blanc
Utilising carefully selected fruit from the Longbend vineyard beside the Opawa River, this wine gives an intense lifted nose of ripe exotic fruits, citrus and passion fruit.
Chardonnay
The wines show intense stone fruit, citrus and gunflint aromas on the nose supported by toasted meal characters. A creamy palate gives way to a wonderful complex wine with powerful fruit weight and great length.
Pinot Noir
Produced from the estate vineyards this wine provides dark fruits entwined with savoury richness and toasty French oak. The complexity of the nose continues through the palate revealing generous fruit weight and mocha nuances delivered with a refined texture and a persistent finish.
Viognier
Produced from Sam Rose’s own vineyard on the banks of the Wairau River, this wine displays a subtle yet complex nose with aromas of apricots and lime marmalade. These characters translate generously onto the palate and are complemented by a rich soft texture.
